Due to the graciousness of the lady working in the little weaver’s cottage I was able to get some interior shots of the little house featured in my last post. They are not the best photos but I felt they were worth posting.
A blurry shot looking in the door from the front porch
The kitchen sink
It appears that this little end of the house is actually the kitchen which leads me to believe that the gun shop behind it is also part of the original house. After I have all of my facts and photos assembled I will make a full post on this charming little building which is currently my favorite

Fantastic photos today! Glad to see the finishing touches that have been added to the Barber Shop. The shooting gallery still looks hideous! At least they saved those signs from the original Silver Dollar Saloon. I wonder where the "All nations welcome...except Carrie" sign went?
Love the shot taken inside the Mine Ride!
Cool interiors of the Weaver's house! And I've never taken a shot of that maintenance entrance on the Log Ride - nice Cavern shot too!
Did you wander into the gun shop to take a look at that fireplace I mentioned? It appears to be the main room of the house, no?
Nice post.
TM - I too wonder what became of the Carrie Nation sign. Hmmmm.
CM - Thanks!
OTB - I didn't have a chance to go inside the gun shop on this visit, but after looking at some interior pics that I took last year, and now seeing what is inside the little front section I do believe that you are correct. The current gun shop is the main section of the house and the little section I featured in my last post is the kitchen/service area. It also appears that the current knife shop is in the room that was added on in 1955. I plan to research this further, more to come!
Wow, i had completely forgotten the "Spit on the Ceiling" sign after 40+ years.
Weird flash to see a photo like that and feel the memory rush...doesnt matter if it's original or not..
LTK, thank you for this. For a moment, I was a kid with my Dad again. There really are no words.
Does Hop Wing Lee the Chinese laundryman still sing his little ditty while ironing?
